Modern Turbine Pendant Light
The Modern Turbine pendant light was designed following the Brake Light, and built on the design concepts and functionality of both that and the previous Abstraction Branch light. Inspired by jet engine turbines which pull and focus air as a force of motion, it elicits that motion as it lights a space. It is made up of 8 flat aluminum panels that are water jet cut and then powder coated. These panels then ingeniously interlock with no fasteners, held together only by a single connection ring. The result embodies a timeless design that balances material, form, and function. It is perfectly suited for commercial applications, hospitality, or residential, and available in many different custom color and finish options to meet your project needs. Whether hanging above bars, tables, various living or office arrangements, or becoming a feature in and of itself in a modern minimalist setting, it will transform a space into a thing of inspiration and beauty.

Materials / Process
The materials used were chosen for ideal form and function. The flat, water jet cut aluminum is durable and sustainably recyclable. The aluminum panels can be powder coated in a wide variety of colors, and the fabric coated cords come in a multitude of colors to mix or match. It comes flat packed and is easily assembled upon opening. It comes with a ceiling canopy that is powder coated in the same color.

Customization
Our Modern Turbine pendant lights are available in an almost infinite array of custom options. We also do artist collaborations. So if you want something truly unique for your project, this could be the way to go. We know some amazing artists that we can collaborate with (click here for some examples), or we can work with a specific artist if you have someone in mind :) Please contact us directly if your project requires any sort of customization. For example, we can also make Modern Turbine lights in rusted steel, brass, copper, and hot rolled steel. With painted shapes, silk screened artwork, and laser etched or cut patterns. We also are available to design and fabricate any type of modern lighting fixture you need for any type of project ;)
NOTE ON SHIPPING
Shipping times may vary depending on your selection. We do carry some lighting fixtures in stock, but many of them are made to order. And of course any type of customization may add to shipping time as well.
